Why the Blog
Well over a year ago the MIL indicator light on my BMW320D began to light intermittently. Fearing all sorts of expensive problems I decided to investigate.
My first reference was the internet and specifically BMW forums. Although other owners had suffered the same problems as myself, the diagnosis of the problem and most importantly the cure, was still unclear. I suppose people go on forums for assistance but forget to go back and report their results. What I had learnt was that many people had spent a lot of money at garages and still hadn't resolved their problems! This was something I didn't want and so resolved to do it myself!
Therefore the blog is a record of this work.
